What do I need to make a kundli?
Date of birth, the exact time of birth (hour and minute) and the city of birth. The more exact the time, the more correct the ascendant.
How do I find my rashi?
The sign the Moon is in at the time of birth is your rashi (moon sign). It appears at the top as soon as the kundli is made, along with your nakshatra.
What is lagna?
The sign rising in the east at the time of birth is the lagna (ascendant). It is the first house of the kundli and the other houses are counted from it.
How is manglik dosha checked?
By the common rule, Mars in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th house from the lagna makes a person manglik. Rules and exceptions differ between traditions, so consult an expert for decisions such as marriage.
