How do I work out the 22 carat gold rate?
22K gold is 91.6% pure. The 22K rate is usually taken as about the 24K rate × 22 ÷ 24, but the rate the shop quotes is final.
How much GST is there on gold jewellery?
A total of 3% GST applies on the gold price and making charge (the making charge may have a different rate; check your bill).
How much is the making charge?
It depends on the shop and the design, often 8% to 25%. Enter your shop's charge in the calculator.
